This policy explains how RTTS processes information when you use Realtime Subtitle Translator.
Information used to provide the service
- Email address: used for email login codes, purchase association, receipts, and support.
- Account and device identifiers: used to keep a browser installation linked to its usage balance and prevent duplicate abuse grants.
- Usage records: prepaid minutes or manga pages are decremented when the corresponding service is used.
- Abuse-prevention data: a one-way IP fingerprint may be used for rate limits. We do not use it as a precise location profile.
Media processing
Audio, subtitle text, and manga image crops may be sent to the configured AI providers to produce a translation. They are processed for the requested operation and are not intentionally kept as a user media library. The extension may cache detector model files locally in the browser.
Service providers
Paddle processes checkout and payment information as Merchant of Record. Resend may deliver login and receipt emails. AI providers process the request payload needed to return a translation. Each provider handles data under its own terms and privacy policy.
Retention and security
Account balance, purchase records, and limited operational logs are retained as needed to provide the service, prevent fraud, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. We use HTTPS and server-side secrets for provider credentials. No payment card number is stored by this service.
